Foreign Minister Calls on Security Council to Compel Israel to Stop Building Settlements

HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani called on the international community to compel Israel to implement the international legitimacy and the Arab peace initiative, which includes the establishment of a Palestinian state with its capital in East Jerusalem. His Excellency also stressed on the need to solve the Palestinian refugee issue, and also called on the UN Security Council to compel Israel to immediately stop the construction of colonial settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.



Meeting on UNSC Reform Starts in Doha

The meeting on United Nations Security Council (UNSC) reforms started Saturday in Doha in presence of HE the Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and HE the State Minister for Foreign Affairs Soltan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.

Qatar Rejects Amnesty Report on Law Regulating Expats' Entry and Exit

The government of the State of Qatar has fundamentally rejected Amnesty International's claims in their report 'New Name, Old System?' that Law No. 21 of 2015 on the entry, exit, and residence of expatriates, fails to provide sufficient legislative protection for migrant workers in Qatar.
