In Implementation of the directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, two cargo planes (C-17) belonging to the Qatari Amiri Air Force arrived in the Republic of Tunisia today carrying medical aid in support from the State of Qatar to the efforts of Tunisia in containing the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The aid includes a field hospital with a 200-bed capacity fully-equipped in terms of medical supplies, in addition to 100 ventilators.

The medical aid comes in the framework of the State of Qatar's policy of enhancing international solidarity and cooperation to face the Coronavirus pandemic, and its policy of enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Tunisia.
